Last Update from Vendor -

Dear Customer, Further to our previous communication regarding the subsea fault on the Circe North cable, we would like to provide an additional update on the current status. As previously advised, testing has confirmed a fault in the wet section of the Circe North cable, approximately 97km from Zandvoort ILA, Netherlands. We have formally alerted our marine repair partner, who is now engaged and preparing for the required repair operations. Subsea repair activities of this nature are complex and involve several preparatory steps before work can commence offshore. Our marine operations team must secure the appropriate permits and naval clearances from the relevant authorities prior to deployment. These regulatory processes, combined with vessel scheduling and transit times, mean that repairs cannot begin immediately. Upon arrival on site, subsea cable repair activities are intricate and subject to multiple operational variables. As such, the overall restoration timeline remains uncertain and may vary considerably depending on factors including: Repair vessel availability and mobilisation time Weather and sea state conditions Seabed conditions and water depth Operational or technical challenges encountered during retrieval and jointing Additional permitting or regulatory requirements Given these variables, services may continue to experience an extended Estimated Time to Repair (ETR). We will provide a more precise timeline once the repair vessel schedule, permits, and mobilisation plan are confirmed. For customers wishing to discuss reroute options, please contact your Zayo Account Manager directly. All reroute requests must be coordinated through your account team. We fully understand the impact this may have on your operations and sincerely appreciate your continued patience and understanding. Further updates will be shared as soon as additional information becomes available.
